THE FUTURE OF CONCRETE PLACEMENT

Twenty years in the making. Here’s how it happened.

We didn't set out to find a concrete pump for the next era

We went to South Korea to find a qualified fabrication partner to help us build a better belt, and discovered TB1, quietly building some of the best concrete pumps we’d ever seen – a concrete pumper’s diamond in the rough. TB1 pumps weren’t yet refined for the North American market, but the essence of the machine design was exactly what our market demands: simple & smart designs, robust construction; no unnecessary complexity; and the kind of structural integrity that holds up over years of hard use.

refined and targeted

We spent close to a year confirming our factory observations – multiple trips overseas, closely inspecting units in action that had been running in harsh conditions for more than a decade, with minimal downtime, no major failures, and only praise reports from operators – we were more than impressed.

Then we got to work. We didn’t materially change the platform. We refined it: targeted improvements that benefit North American contractors and pumpers.

a different kind of opportunity

We are a company founded by and run by engineers and operators who have spent their entire careers in the concrete placing industry. We are problem solvers, so when we came across TB1, we saw untapped value that would improve our industry and “leave it better than when we found it.” And that’s how a proven Korean machine became the platform for a new American company – Next Era.

THREE COMMITMENTS. ONE STANDARD.

What’s best for the customer drives everything we do – and every improvement we make to the machine has to earn its place by that standard and our three commitments.

  • Reliable by Design
  • Best in Class Service & Support
  • Unmatched Value

That’s Next Era and why we feel confident saying we are the future of concrete placement.

Reliable by Design

Open loop hydraulics, all hydraulic switching, full manual override and conservative engineering utilizing the best HSLA steels. Gone are printed circuit boards, finicky sensors and unnecessary complexity. Every decision points toward one outcome: a machine that keeps running.

Best in Class
Service & Support

Service that starts the day you take delivery and never has an end date. When you call Next Era, you reach someone who knows your machine - real people, real expertise, available 24/7/365.

Unmatched Value

Backed by 20+ years of proven manufacturing history and premium quality, our machines are designed without costly features you don't need. Next Era pumps deliver unmatched value - not just at purchase, but pour after pour, job after job, year after year.

Structural Integrity

A concrete pump takes a beating - from the high cycle vibrations of driving to and from jobsites to variable boom configuration pumping. Every pour stresses the structures, and over thousands of cycles that’s what wears a machine out. Strength and endurance aren’t just about what steel you use - they’re about how it’s designed to carry loads.

Drawing on more than 20 years of boom pump design & manufacturing experience, every Next Era pump is built from HSLA steels and held to precise fabrication tolerances - engineered to resist bending and fatigue, not just to hold weight. The result is a stable, durable machine that withstands the demands of concrete pumping - Reliable by Design

Benefits

Manual Stroke Limiter

Many OEMs provide the ability to stroke the pump at some unknown speed or output but with very limited control. Next Era provides a true manual stroke limiter giving the operator precise control from 0 to Full strokes per minute depending on the jobsite demands.

Benefits

Huck-Bolted Frame Mounting

We mount every unit to the truck frame with huck bolts instead of conventional nuts and bolts. Standard bolted connections can loosen over time under the constant vibration and load of pumping. Huck bolts install to a permanent, locked clamp that stays tight for the life of the machine - no torque checks, no working loose, no re-tightening down the road.

Benefits

Industry Leading Warranty

Every Next Era unit comes with 3 years of comprehensive coverage on all Next Era-manufactured components - pumping systems, booms, and structural elements. Armor Plus extends that to 5 years total for operators who want additional peace of mind. It’s not a document built to avoid claims. It’s a commitment to stand behind every machine and fix problems when they happen, without the runaround.

Benefits

NEXT ERA GREASE GUARDIAN

In most concrete pumps operating today, any clogged grease line in the auto-greaser distribution network will prevent greasing to all points in the system – and the operator has no idea nothing is getting greased. Next Era has developed a clogged grease line indication system that alerts the operator of the condition so action can be taken to keep the grease flowing.

Benefits

BACKUP RADIO REMOTE

Most OEM’s provide a radio remote and a cabled backup. At Next Era our backup remote is a wireless radio, exactly the same as our primary remote. It comes protected in a foam lined hard case pre-programmed and ready to use.

Benefits

HATOX RADIO REMOTE

Next Era concrete pumps are integrated with the German HATOX radio remote controller. This 900 MHz radio integrates some of the highest quality proportional controls available into a near indestructible aluminum housing. Another great feature is that it runs on inexpensive AA batteries.

Benefits

12v ELECTRIC CONTROLS

We believe a concrete pump controller should be as simple as possible with no unnecessary complexity. Our electric control system is 12v and uses NO Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s).

Benefits

ALL Hydraulic SWITCHING

In our pumping circuit, at the end of the stroke, a small amount of hydraulic oil is quickly ported through signaling valves to switch positions of two directional control valve spools. This redirects the flows to the pumping cylinders and S-Tube switching cylinder, the valve shifts and pumping continues.

Benefits

OPEN LOOP HYDRAULICS

In our Open Loop pumping circuit, hydraulic oil flows from tank to main pump to pumping cylinders and back to tank, where it is allowed to settle and be cooled. Others use closed loop systems that reuse the working oil and only replace a small percentage of the oil every stroke.
